the Institute

Fellowship of the Institute recognises excellent abilities and skills and is its highest distinction of the Institute. Applications may be made by Members of the Institute with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience.

2012 Booking Information

Booking as a delegate in the conference could not be easier. Just go to the Online Conference Booking Page and complete the booking form. Various payment options are available, including PayPal and credit card payment – or you can place an official order against which IMI will issue an invoice. Please use the online system, which is the quickest way to secure your place at the conference. If you have any questions or difficulty with booking, please email the Conference Administrator

Delegate rates
The Annual Conference is the biggest and most important event in the Institute’s calendar. We want as many members as possible to be able to benefit from this opportunity for learning and professional networking. That is why we have worked hard to significantly reduce the member delegate prices from last year, with further reduced rates for students and retired members. Additional discounts are available during the booking process when you share your room with another delegate or partner, or if this is your first attendance at conference as a member.

There are a range of ticket options, from single day tickets to a full conference ticket, as well as the ability to book extra nights and additional dinner tickets.

Please take a few minutes to check the following details before proceeding with your online booking.

As an IMI Member your existing member login details will ensure you will receive your preferential rates. If you are a non-member you will need to register. It's important that during the non-member registration process, the appropriate boxes are checked for MAA/BIPP membership or for a non-member trade booking.

If you wish to share your accommodation with another delegate (and both of you benefit from further reduced ticket prices) please choose one or more of the shared ticket options when you have entered the system, and follow the directions. This is only valid if another delegate books a similar ticket and your respective share partners name is shown in each of the booking "Notes" boxes.

If you wish to share your accommodation with a non-delegate please choose one of the standard ticket options and follow the directions for room sharing. You will be required to enter the name of your room share partner in the booking notes box.

The system allows you to choose various items and hold them in a cart, which you may leave in the system and return to and change as you wish, you will only be asked for payment and your order confirmed when you proceed to checkout, and "Checkout & Pay".

At checkout, if you wish to pay by invoice you will be required to enter a valid order number, you must have this number available before you proceed to checkout. Other payment options are: PayPal, credit cards (MasterCard, Visa and Visa Delta), debit cards, bank transfer (internet or telephone banking) and by cheque. If you wish to pay by credit card but not through PayPal, please contact our Treasurer.

Please note that your Conference Booking will only be confirmed when we have received your payment in full.
