Fellowship of
the Institute

Fellowship of the Institute recognises excellent abilities and skills and is its highest distinction of the Institute. Applications may be made by Members of the Institute with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience.

Continuing Professional Development

The IMI Continuing Professional Development programme has been further revised to reflect the requirements of the Health Professions Council. All qualified IMI members are required to maintain a CPD portfolio, which may be called for audit during the year. Maintaining an up to date CPD portfolio is a mandatory requirement of IMI membership. To help you record and monitor your CPD portfolio, all members have access to IMI's on-line CPD Record. The downloads available from this page include the IMI CPD handbook, an example of a CPD profile, IMI's CPD statement, a useful list of typical CPD activities and an article on reflective writing. You can also download a library of self assessment activities that you can work through at your own pace and then add to your CPD Record.
