We regret to announce the passing of Tom Leishman who worked at the Medical Illustration Department at the Glasgow Western Infirmary until 1985 under the direction of the notable Medical Artist, Gabriel Donald who was the then Director.
Tom was heavily involved in the planning of 1980 IMI Conference at Stirling which is regarded by many as the best conference we have had. Tom made many friends across the Medical Illustration Departments in Scotland and was truly a gentle person and a very caring human being.
There will be private cremation for Tom followed by a service of thanksgiving to celebrate a life well lived on Friday 1st May at 2pm in St Mary's Church, Kirkintilloch near Glasgow.
