IMI members are invited to attend a professional development workshop on human anatomy at the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification at the University of Dundee. The Centre has been evaluating the thiel soft-fix embalming method for the past year - the first anatomy department in the UK to do so. Thiel’s soft embalming technique is a sophisticated method of preservation of complete human cadavers that allows them to maintain most of the features of a live body, particularly with regard to the authenticity of colour, tissue consistency and flexibility.
