Since 1968 IMI has set and maintained standards for
the medical illustration profession, bringing together the disciplines of
clinical photography, medical art, graphic design and videography within
healthcare. The Institute’s members are a highly specialised and skilled
group of people contributing to the care of patients and the teaching of
medicine and allied subjects.

The Editor and the publishers, Informa Healthcare, apologize for the poor reproduction of the last issue of our Journal. The printers were at fault, and as such, have agreed to reprint the Journal at their cost. All IMI members and subscribers to the Journal will receive a revised copy in due course.
