The successful candidate will be a practising, AHCS registered clinical photographer with a degree in Medical Illustration / Clinical Photography or related media subject, along with a track record of team management within Medical Illustration.
The post holder will have day to day responsibility for a team of 5 nationally registered AHCS Photographers who provide the delivery of clinical photography, ophthalmic diagnostic imaging and the production of video for a variety of specialities within the Trust.
There is a significant ophthalmic workload including participation in clinical research trials and you would have responsibility for the departments risk assessments, photographer’s appraisals and training including responsibility for current and future trainees.
Bradford Medical Illustration was the first unit in the U.K to be accredited with IMI QAS Level 2 and ISO 9000:2008 for its Quality Management System and has a procedural and protocol based approach to its operational working.
