There are two vacancies for election to IMI’s Council (2017-2020) and you can now vote on-line from the IMI website. The deadline for doing this is Friday September 22nd 2017. You will see photographs and biographies of all of the candidates. You can vote for a maximum of two people. The results of this election will be announced at IMI’s AGM on October 6th October 2017.

The following procedure has been approved by Council for the award of Honorary Fellowships. The Honorary Fellowship is quite distinct from the ordinary Fellowship and is awarded in recognition of outstanding service to the Institute or to the profession as a whole. It is envisaged that this high distinction will be sparingly awarded and is vested solely in the Council of the Institute. A maximum of two Honorary Fellowships will be awarded in any calendar year and there shall be no compulsion to make any such awards in a given year.
