It is one of the largest private clinics in the UK and has attracted many of the UK’s most renowned Consultants to run their private services from its location in the Harley Street Medical Area. It also operates The London Diabetes Centre which is the leading private Diabetes centre in the UK. It was founded by Dr. Ralph Abraham 25 years ago. Dr Abraham is widely regarded as one of the UKs leading practitioners in Diabetes and Endocrinology at the forefront of new medicines and technology. Currently there are 75 Consultants with 30 different specialties.

Roles & Responsibilities

The primary role is to support the refractive service to our consultants and patients on a part time basis.

Essential Experience:
Snellen Visual Acuity assessment
Tonometer IOP checking with iCare
Humphrey Visual Fields Testing
Corneal Topography (Oculus Pentacam)
Biometry (IOL Master)
OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomography)

Desired Experience:
Schirmer Tear Testing
Pachymetry (Corneal Thickness)
Topcon Mydriatic Retinal Fundus Photography
Heidelberg HRA OCT
Intravitreous injection assistance and all the sterile procedures
Preparation for corneal cross-linking & chalazion incision cuterage etc.
