This conference will reflect on the health and wellbeing of patients, staff and the working environment, whilst offering delegates the chance to enhance their professional practice and expertise.
The team are working hard to produce an exciting programme of presentations, workshops and trade exhibitors; aimed to demonstrate and offer insights into different working practices, new technologies and skill development. Planned topics so far are to include dental retraction, cross polarisation and virtual screening in ophthalmology.
We are excited to announce our keynote speaker as Professor Richard Williams, who directs the Psychosocial & Mental Health Project for the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His current research concerns improving care for staff of health services.Book now
Call for papers
We are now inviting members to submit papers for our workshops and plenary sessions.
Have you done anything really interesting this year? Have you been involved in a new project that others would like to hear about? Or have you been doing something for a long time that others could learn from? If so, come and share your expertise with us at the 52nd Annual IMI conference in Broxbourne, Cheshunt.
Workshops are intended to be hands-on, interactive sessions, running between 45 minutes – 1.5 hours. These sessions give delegates the opportunity to gain and build upon skills under guided instruction.
The plenary sessions are an opportunity to present projects, research and information on emerging trends and areas of interest. These are typically 30-40 minutes in length.
We also welcome any new voices to submit papers for a, short, 10-minute presentation. This is open to Institute members only, who have not previously presented. All new voices receive 1 year’s annual membership, with the winner, voted for by delegates, receiving a full conference ticket.
Closing date for all submissions is 31st January 2020.
