The Institute of Medical Illustrators has been invited to attend a special presentation by Guest Speaker Prof Prokar Dasgupta OBE.
Prof Dasgupta will present his experience with AI in surgery which mirrors what is happening in many hospital trusts across the UK.

Prof Dasgupta in his presentation will highlight the exciting digital future of surgery. It will give the attendees an overview of AI and in particular the role of Responsible and Trustworthy AI, two large projects funded by UK Research and Innovation. It will cover applications of AI in diagnostics, predictive modelling, automated 3D printing to guide surgery and surgical data science. Finally it will mention the emerging role of automated performance metrics in surgical training.
