Calling all IMI Students – would you like to be the voice for our student members and represent them on IMI’s national Council?
We are seeking a new student representative from February 2022 until January 2024. The main duties include:
- Two-year term of office.
- Attending Council six times a year (four of these meetings are virtual via Zoom) and two are in London. Travel expenses are paid.
- Maintaining communication with all students on recognised courses and feedback their issues and concerns to IMI Council.
- Participating in social media and other forum discussions as Student Representative.
- Being Admin of the Student Facebook group.
- Suggesting methods for IMI to improve communication with students and provide them with better support and guidance.
- Attending Education meetings and provide regular input and recommendations for educational materials.
- Reporting recent activity and recommendations to IMI Council before each Council meeting.
If you are based in the UK and would like to apply, please write a short piece (500 words max) explaining why you would like to take on the role and email it to the Honorary Secretary at: secretary@imi.org.uk by January 10th 2023.
