We are delighted to announce that booking is now open for our 74th Annual Conference which will take place at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland from 10-11 April, 2025.
We extend a warm invitation to professional members of IMI, AEIMS and the AMI to attend at the same member rates as MAA members.
We are also inviting students on any accredited course in medical art, forensic art, art in medicine and scientific illustration to attend at a special discounted student rate.
Please feel free to circulate this to your members and students if you think they would be interested in attending.
Information and booking details may be found here.
Conference highlights include a chance to view and sketch human anatomical specimens, guided tours of the Anatomical Museum at Edinburgh University and Surgeons’ Hall Museum, and a special viewing of historical medical artworks held at the Heritage Department of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. There is a fantastic programme of talks as well ranging from Burke & Hare (The Bodysnatchers) right through to forensic art, 3D modelling and everything in between! Plus of course, the chance to meet and socialise with your fellow medical artists.
We look forward to seeing you in Edinburgh!
