Complete the form to apply for Retired Membership to the Institute. If you are an existing member, please let the Membership Secretary know when you retire so that you can enjoy reduced subscription rates.
Retired members are no longer longer actively engaged in Medical Illustration but still wish to keep in touch with people, events and activities associated with the profession.
A Retired member continues to have the right to continue using the letters MIMI/FIMI/HonFIMI as appropriate after his/her name.
Retired members of all grades are eligible to vote.
Retired members have full access to the IMI website, newsletter, journal and concessionary costs (as for students) to conference.
Membership Fee
The IMI subscription year runs from April 1st to March 31st and there are several ways to pay your subscription. Reminders will be sent out to all members in March, so please ensure that your email details are correctly listed in the members directory and that you have read our subscription policy. If you are a UK tax payer, you can claim your subscription fee against your tax bill.
Payment

Monthly or Annual Direct Debit – The easiest way to pay is by setting up a direct debit plan with our chosen provider Stripe which spreads your payments over the year.
Invoice – If you would prefer an invoice to be raised against your hospital or business, include this information when registering through the link above.
