Congratulations to this year’s Platinum Award winners, Renske Hoste and Tom Moreton! Their entry, Limbs & Things ART, truly impressed the judges, making their victory well deserved. The Platinum Award, given to the entry nominated as ‘Best in Show’ by the Chair, is selected from the Gold Award winners. The recipients of this prestigious award receive a certificate and a prize of £200. Well done, Renske and Tom!
Describing the entry, Renske and Tom said, ‘This app is a completely new concept, adding Interactive 3D and Augmented Reality to existing physical task trainers by Limbs&Things. Using this free app, students can visualise the anatomy under the skin whilst or before performing a procedure, adding to their visuospatial understanding of anatomy and procedures.’
