Carol Fleming receives an AHCS Honorary Fellowship

Today celebrates the work and dedication of our fabulous IMI secretary, Carol Fleming, who has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship with the Academy of Healthcare Sciences. 

Carol Fleming had a distinguished career as a Medical Illustrator spanning 42 years and during this time showed commitment both to our profession and to healthcare science. She demonstrated remarkable tenacity and dedication in achieving regulation for medical illustrators in the UK, promoting healthcare science positively within the profession and more widely to other healthcare professionals and the public. Since retiring in 2018, Carol has continued to play a major role within the Institute of Medical Illustrators (IMI).
