I am really pleased to tell you that I have another exhibition coming up at Highgate Gallery, Pond Square, Highgate in London from Friday the 15th of November to Thursday the 28th November.

It is the culmination of my trilogy ‘My Places’, a series of paintings and books that explore the profound effects of global warming on locations dear to my heart. This work journeys from my home near Hampstead Heath in London, through Louisiana in the US where I worked for part of my career, to Alberta, Canada, where my daughter Tor lives. I explore how they are all intimately linked by the changing global climate.
 
The inception of this trilogy was sparked by my visit to Hudson Bay, Manitoba, Canada, in November 2016. Witnessing first-hand the stark environmental changes, such as the reduction of sea ice due to Arctic warming, deeply influenced my work. This trip marked the beginning of my exploration into the impact of climate change on my cherished places, from extreme rainfall in Britain to rising sea levels in Louisiana and wildfires and glacial melt in Alberta.
 
Donations from all sales will be made to Heath Hands, the voluntary organisation on Hampstead Heath and the Jasper Community Team Society who are supporting the community in one of my ‘Places’, Jasper, Alberta, where a ferocious wildfire, driven by the climate crisis, has recently destroyed 30% of homes and businesses in the small mountain town.
