Financial pressures force membership subscription increase

Following last year’s increase in membership fees, after a prolonged period with no change, fees this year will again be increased from the 1st April due to increasing financial pressures.

The increases will affect all IMI memberships as listed below;
Student/Retired from £72.00 to £75.60 (£6.30 per month)
Professional/Affiliate from £108.00 to £113.40 (£9.45 per month)
Corporate from £270.00 to £283.50 (23.60 per month).

A minimal increase is necessary to meet the demands of rising costs and it reflects the current level of inflation. In future, fees will be indexed to inflation and this will help prevent sudden hikes in membership fees, as has happened in the past. The increase will allow IMI to continue providing services for its members and enable the institute to move forward and meet future challenges.

The Institute of Medical Illustrators can only exist through its members’ continued patronage and continued participation, making IMI a powerful voice in maintaining and improving the profession in these challenging times.

Please ensure your payment details are up to date and if your fees are funded by your department, please start the process of raising an order as soon as you can to ensure you have no membership lapse.
