The Journal aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum for the interchange of information and ideas on the development, implementation and use of communications media for educational, record and research purposes in all areas of the Health Sciences. A particular emphasis is placed on multimedia and computer-based advancements.
The Journal of Visual Communication in Medicine is an international, peer-reviewed publication that promotes the effective use of communications media to improve healthcare through education, clinical practice and research.
IMI members are strongly encouraged to contribute to the journal by submitting original research articles, case studies, professional development articles and work for the gallery.
All manuscripts for consideration should be submitted to the journal’s ScholarOne website, which you can find online at https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cjau. Under the Author tab, click ‘start a new submission’ to begin.
Further information on the submission process can be found on the Taylor & Francis website, which also hosts the journal’s Instructions for Authors. Head to http://www.tandfonline.com/ijau for more details. It is important to read these thoroughly and ensure that your submission complies with the guidelines outlined, as this will help to avoid unnecessary delay to the peer review process.
